Installation guide on how to use Windows Applications (.exe) on Mac (M1/M2/intel)

Tools:

  • Homebrew
  • Wine Crossover

Steps:

  1. Open CMD
  2. Type in: /bin/bash -c „$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/HEAD/install.sh)“
  3. Type in: brew install –cask –no-quarantine gcenx/wine/wine-crossover

/bin/bash -c „$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/HEAD/install.sh)“

brew install –cask –no-quarantine gcenx/wine/wine-crossover

M1 / M2 no problems

Intel -> cmd / open -> cd „filepath“ -> wine64 „file.exe“
